A local SEO agency that works the map and the website.
Getting into the top 3 on Google Maps is half the job. Ranking the service pages underneath it is the other half. As a specialist local SEO company, we do both in one programme for single-location businesses, multi-location retailers, and franchises across the UK.
Both sections of the SERP, working together.
Why local SEO is different
The map pack and your website both rank. We work both.
Plenty of agencies will sell you “local SEO” and mean one thing: getting you into the map pack.
That’s only half the job.
The pages on your website rank underneath the map, and for searches that involve more consideration, comparison, or research, it’s often the website doing the work rather than the map.
Local SEO done properly works both channels in one programme. Here's what that actually means.
Two ranking systems, one strategy.
The map pack is driven by Google Business Profile, proximity, and reviews. Organic results are driven by your site’s content, structure, and authority. They’re separate algorithms. Most agencies pick one. We work both because your customers use both.
Different searches, different results.
"Physio near me" is dominated by the map pack. "Best physio for sciatica [town]" is won by the organic page. "Does [clinic] treat back pain?" is won by the service page. You need to rank in all three shapes of result to catch every customer.
Proximity beats authority, in the map.
In the map pack, physical proximity to the searcher is often the deciding factor, which means a small local business can outrank a national brand. In the organic results below the map, authority and content quality still matter.
They feed each other.
A well-ranked organic page can help map-pack performance for the same business. Strong GBP signals can support organic visibility too. Work one well, and the other gets easier. Work only one, and the other underperforms.
Single or multi-location
Single location, or two hundred.
The methodology is the same. How we approach it is different. Here's roughly what to expect depending on where you’re at.
Single-location businesses
One town or city, ranked hard.
Typical for trades, clinics, restaurants, solicitors and accountants. The work is deep rather than wide.
On the map
One GBP listing, one review programme. Most of the effort goes into dominating the map pack for 5–15 high-intent terms in one area.
On the website
One set of service pages, each built to win its term outright in the organic results beneath the map.
Multi-location businesses
Consistent rankings across every location.
Typical for retailers, franchises, healthcare groups and estate agents. The work is wider, with more operational surface area.
On the map
One GBP per location, NAP consistency at scale, and bulk review programmes, all kept consistent across the whole estate.
On the website
Location pages that actually differ from each other, real content per branch, not a find-a-store template.
Local SEO case studies
Local SEO, on the record.
Three local campaigns we can show. Every number links to the full story: the brief, the work, and where it came from.
Local firm that went from a handful of enquiries a week to the dominant plumbing & heating business in their area. Three years of steady compounding, content, technical, and local authority, rather than one clever trick. The study we point every new prospect at.

What our local SEO services actually involve.
Everything below starts in month one. A technically sound website matters. So does content that matches search intent, plus backlinks that help build authority. The rest still matters, but content and links are the things you'll see every month because without them, nothing ranks.
Service + area pages, built to sell
A commercially focused page per service and per area, cross-linked, genuinely differentiated, not boilerplate with the town name swapped, which Google treats as doorway content.
Backlinks that move rankings
Citations aren't links. We earn backlinks from local press, trade bodies, suppliers and sponsorships, no link farms, no bought placements.
Research
Enquiry data against search volume, postcode by postcode. High-intent beats high-volume.
Google Business Profile
Every field filled in and working. It’s one of the biggest map-pack factors, and one most businesses still half-fill.
Reviews
A programme, not an ask: volume, velocity and response rate all rank.
Citations & NAP
Consistent details everywhere that matters. It’s one of the most common causes of local underperformance.
Schema + technical
Only the bits that matter. If an issue isn't costing rankings, we don't bill to fix it.
Convert the rankings
Trust signals above the fold. Position one is worth nothing if the page doesn't sell.
Not just the rankings, the work behind them.

Read full review on GoogleWe don't do packages. Here's why.
Every local business is in a different position. Different site, different competition, different GBP state, different review base. Selling you a Bronze / Silver / Gold package that pretends otherwise is how agencies make their margins, not how your phone starts ringing.
We scope the work to what will actually move the needle and re-scope as we learn more. For multi-location, pricing scales with estate size, but the shape stays the same.
Single-location businesses typically sit near the floor. Multi-location pricing scales with estate size and the number of managed profiles. We'll tell you what we think on the video review before either of us commits.
Questions we get about local SEO.
? Do we need local SEO if we already do regular SEO?
If your customers find you through "near me" searches, through Google Maps, or by typing a town name into their query, then yes. Regular SEO ranks your website; local SEO ranks your website and your Google Business Profile, which is where about half the relevant clicks actually happen.
? How long before we're in the map pack?
First movement in 2–3 months is typical. Meaningful map-pack rankings for your high-intent terms usually land 4–6 months in. Low-competition terms and long-tail searches move faster; competitive city-centre terms take longer. Richard will give you a specific read on the video review.
? We've got 40 locations, can you handle that?
Yes. We've run local SEO programmes across estates ranging from a handful of sites to 120+. Bulk GBP management, NAP consistency at scale, and location pages that actually differ from each other are all part of how we work with multi-location clients.
? Do we need separate websites for each location?
Almost never. One good site with proper location pages beats multiple thin sites every time, both for rankings and for maintenance. The exceptions are rare: usually different brands or genuinely different businesses under one group.
? What if we've already got an agency doing some of this?
We'll still record the video review. It's a useful second opinion either way. If what they're doing is working, we'll tell you. If it isn't, we'll tell you that too. We don't poach clients mid-retainer without their current contract being honoured. We're here to deliver results, not to boost our numbers.
